Frequently asked questions:
How many dogs do you allow?
We limit the number of pack members to 15..
Do the small dogs have to play with the large dogs?
No, we have a separate small dog play area.
Can any dog play at Big Daddy’s?
No, we require a 4 hour interview with each applicant. We asses each dogs
personality to avoid any aggressive and extremely timid dogs. The happiness
and safety of the pack is our top priority.
Do we have to be present for the interview?
No, we like your dog to be left with us so their true personality will
come out. If the owner is present, many dogs will block other dogs from
approaching their owner.
What are the requirements?
Current on their vaccination record, including Bordetella, Rabies, Distemper,
and a fecal exam completed within the last 6 months.
Do we put the dogs in Kennels?
No Big Daddy’s is a Kennel free environment, the dog’s romp
and play in the yard and inside the house.
Does my dog need to be fixed?
Yes, we require all dogs to be neutered or spayed. This will keep the
tempo of the pack low, and will not bring extra aggressiveness with the
pack members.
Do you groom dogs?
No, we are set up as a self-serve dog wash. We supply all the materials
needed to clean your dog. We just don’t supply scissors or cutting
sheers. Customers are welcome to bring them from home and use our facility.
If we bring our own shampoo is it cheaper?
No, our fixed costs are in the water to bath your dog and the electricity
to dry them.
We carry all the shampoos and conditioners you would need, including specialty
shampoo for allergies, dry skin and whitening a dog’s coat.
What are your hours:
We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Saturday from 10:00
am to 7:00 pm and on Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Do I need an appointment?
We prefer appointments so we can staff accordingly, as well as serve our
customers that are on tight schedules.
Do I have to leave my dog all day?
We would love to play with your dog all day, but we do offer half-day
programs that are good for up to 5 hours.
